Learn how to make this super cool Toy Story strawberry. Perfect for your treat table, party or simply improving your decorating skills.
Creating this Toy Story Strawberry (Forky Edition) is a lot of fun. If you grew up watching Toy Story, inventing sweets based on the theme is quite imaginative.
Forky is one of several strawberries that can be created with Toy Story theme. I wanted to start with a character that wasn’t as detailed because the hardest part of dealing with chocolate is being steady when decorating.
What Are Facts You Should Know About Decorating With Chocolate?
01. The brand & type of chocolate matters:
Candy Melts is the most popular choice of chocolate when treat decorating but Almond Bark is a complete game changer. From great consistency, smoothness, easy to dye & taste it is overall a 10/10 choice. I highly recommend you give it a try.
02. Chocolate can burn easily:
Melting your chocolate 30 secs at a time while stiring in-between process is the best method to making sure your chocolate doesn’t burn.
03. Tipless bags:
Tipless bags allow you to have more control with chocolate despite the amount in bag. While trying to use ziplock or icing bags, you need to feel the bag at least halfway full in order for it to release a great consistency. While tipless bags allow you to add a small amount of chocolate, which is great when only needing to use a little bit..
04. Only use Oil based food coloring:
Chocolate only works good with an oil based food coloring. Your chocolate will be super thick and ruined if using a color dye that isn’t oil based. Chef Master is a great affordable brand, that I personally use & recommend you try..
